Take Home Chef

Take Home Chef is yet another reality TV show that can be watched on The Learning Channel or TLC cable TV network. Hosted by Curtis Stone, the Take Home Chef is a half-hour cooking show that has been aired since May of 2006.

As a tradition, the Take Home Chef show usually begins as Curtis Stone introduces himself to shoppers in a grocery store. The Take Home Chef usually picks a woman in her 20s or 30s. Curtis Stone then asks the person if she is cooking dinner for someone that night. Once the person responds with a ‘yes’ then Curtis Stone offers to help the person cook the dinner. The Take Home Chef TV show continues with Curtis Stone and the person driving off to the participant’s home. They cook the meal and later on surprise the participant’s guest as he or she arrives.

Take Home Chef Curtis had then become sous-chef of the famous Mirabelle restaurant and has contributed largely to the Mirabelle Cookbook. After some time, he was made head chef of another critically acclaimed restaurant, the Quo Vadis. Then, he appeared in several TV cooking shows until he became the host of Take Home Chef in LA.
