The cooking school locations of the top culinary schools worldwide are more often in the United States, and in European countries like Switzerland, Italy, and France. These are the most common cooking school locations because of the rich tradition of cooking and the resources and technology available in these countries.
The US currently holds the number one spot worldwide which is the Culinary Institute of America in New York. Next to it is a Houston Texas cooking school which is the Texas Culinary Academy. Sacramento is third with Johnson & Wales University. The same university which is among the many culinary arts schools in Florida ranked fourth. Sullivan University in Kentucky was the fifth in the list of top 100 culinary schools. Now another Texas cooking school comes in sixth, which is the Art Institute of Houston. Another Houston cooking school that got in the list is Alain and Marie Lenotre Culinary Institute at number 60. Canada got in at seventh place for its Liaison College in Ontario. Switzerland came in eighth with DCT – Swiss-European Culinary and Pastry Chocolate Art Center. There’s also the High Training Educational Institute of Venezuela at ninth. Vermont ends the top ten with New England Culinary Institute.
Cooking classes in USA dominated the top 25 culinary schools but there are other countries that were included in the list. The Philippines ranked thirteenth with International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management and 28th with Center for Culinary Arts. The great cooking classes Italy offers in their Cucina con Vista Cooking School came in number 22. Spain is next with Escuela Univde Hosteleria in Barcelona.
Other US states were also part of the top culinary schools. The top culinary school California has is the Culinary Institute of America in Nappa Valley. There’s also the San Diego Culinary Institute. Top cooking class + Pennsylvania are what define the JNA Institute of Culinary Arts that came in number 21. A Connecticut culinary school that made it to the top 50 is the Connecticut Culinary Institute at number 41. The top culinary school Chicago has to offer is the Chicago Cooking and Hospitality Institute. New Orleans school of cooking like the Cookin’ Cajun Cooking School is at number 66.
